I am a Fine Art Photographer currently residing in Manotick, Ontario. I began creating my collection of photographs entitled, “Light Illusions,” early in 2009. The idea originated from a personal discovery of how fascinatingly light alters the everyday appearance of an object, making it somehow magical. The result of this moment has led to many abstract compositions which allow the eye to see what it wants to see…

I was born in Montreal, but grew up in Ottawa. Returning to Montreal in 1983, I completed a BA HONS. in Arts/Education at Concordia U. Further adventures took me to Victoria, North Vancouver and Comox, B.C. I find that some of my creative inspiration (which is showing up in my images lately) has been influenced by my life on the West Coast. Over the years, in addition to photography, I have also experimented with drawing and painting, both acrylic & watercolour as well as dance, yoga and Reiki.

Currently, I am teaching special needs children with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board when not capturing “light at play,”and the proud mother of two beautiful young women whom I watch daily as they grow wings of their own.
